From incident to competence, in one thread
An incident is only closed when the competence question behind it has been answered. Rail Intel links incidents to the people involved and to the development plans raised as a result, so the thread from event to resolution stays intact.
Recording and managing incidents
Incidents are recorded company-wide with type, severity, date and the action taken, then allocated to the employees involved. The management list gives the operational picture; the employee record shows what is allocated to that individual.
Monitoring and competence development plans
The Monitoring tab holds performance monitoring and the competence development plans raised against an employee. A CDP records what needs to improve, what was agreed and whether it was completed — and can carry over into the next cycle if it is still open.
Performance and support plans
Where a person needs additional support, a performance and support plan is raised, signed by both trainer and trainee, and tracked to completion. Plans are available on the Monitoring tab when the Trainee Driver module is active.
Everything here is included
These capabilities are part of core Rail Intel, gated only by the permissions you assign. Optional modules extend them further.
